I’ve thoroughly enjoyed Owens interviews this season. It shows a personal side to the players and makes you root for them even more.
I can say after reading Michael Carricks book, seeing his YouTube BBC interview as a kid and the interview with Swift that he comes across as a top man

Fantastic Interview that one, with some great questions put to him by Swifty 
He is rapidly becoming my favourite ever Boro Manager/Head Coach and because of his personality as much as anything. I think I’d trust him with the family silverware. He seems the complete opposite to Wilder, in fact he is the complete opposite to most managers in the game, more of a laid back version of a Sir Gareth type, but clearly his own man. I thought he was rightly diplomatic on the transfer question and who the quiz brains belonged to, although he was more flummoxed on how to go about answering the Parmo question than any other

Enjoyed watching that. Carrick comes across as very modest, genuine and nice. It just shows how effective you can be by being like that. I really hope it works for him at Boro and achieves success.

Wonderful Owen. So relaxed and professional and that makes for a more open engagement. No awkward silences or stupid questions. This was like 2 blokes chatting in the pub and that's what gives it its appeal.
The interview style is so refreshing. Personally, I would love to see Owen doing the announcing and half time stuff at the Riverside.
He makes it all about the person he is interviewing and not about himself and liking the sound of his own voice!
MC is clearly a cool guy. He is so likeable also and this is one of the best interviews I have watched for a very long time. Top drawer stuff. UTB.
