A lot better second half

Against very very poor team. That should have been the case from the start. Not good enough, not even close.

We are getting better, I know other fans have expectations and once they have made up their mind we should have a specific result they just can't see positives, their stuck in their disappointment if we don't get that, but there was positives tonight especially 2nd half. I'm taking it as a process, bit by bit we are getting there.

If you mean that the first half was mildly less embarrassing than the first half vs Blackburn?
However..
Tonight they were there for the taking .. literally camping in a six man tent , giving us wave of wave of the ball . With no counter threat..

Manager makes a sub ( unnecessary)
Momentum stopped , and last 15 mins, as conbobulated as the rest of the season so far.
 
Yep I'm convinced OP is writing for the club on here. More possession 2nd half because Wednesday backed off but still absolutely dire. Slow, disjointed, hesitant, poor touches, weak, clueless.
 
Your ignoring the wave after wave of attacking and focussing on a negative, imo we had our chances then needed to protect what we had , I take that point.
 
Arguably one of our worst first halves in a long time.

The second half was ***** too.

We created almost no major chances in the game beyond a set piece goal that should have been disallowed and one piece of excellent individual work from Coburn.

I'm not clinging to the fact that we looked better than a terrible Sheffield Wednesday without really threatening for a brief 20 minute period.
 
Better 2nd half, against who? Ah yes Sheff Wed, the team that's lost all their other home Championship games so far, and are DIv 1 standard.
Jones made the difference in the 2nd half, but let's not get carried away, it couldn't be any worse, that 1st half was shocking, against a poor team.

Engel should never play LB again, Silvera is a poor player, Crooks tries but is too slow, Mcgree too slow, loses the ball when constantly turning into trouble.
Greenwood looks ordinary, (there's a reason why Leeds allowed him to leave) Rogers is not a good Championship player (Blackpool prob his level)

We again go behind and have to chase the game, we look devoid of ideas, until we go behind.

We have supposedly played some of the easier teams so far, Sheff Wed, QPR, Huddersfield, and not won any of them.

Southampton Saturday, we have to win that one, with Watford away next.
