It felt like there was loads outside of the ground, wherever you turned there was Boro. Lots of fun and pride to see all my local settings with Teesside accents
Round 2 on Saturday, I might personally turn down my inebriation level from 10+ to 1 or 2 on Saturday, but we'll see.
 
No idea what the official numbers were but terraces these days allow plenty of room and will never be as crowded as they used to be.
With regards to the seats, many moved into terrace as getting soaked and also some went because the seats were like a morgue compared to the terrace and wanted an atmosphere.
It was a very good turnout from Boro in appalling conditions.
 
The little mini block of standing was not as packed as the bigger section. We came in just before KO we had a look at it and it looked more busy in the bigger block. I felt where I was, directly behind the goal there wasnt much room for people to fit in, we were bouncing a few times, which is usually a sign it's getting really packed, but the section to our left looked even more packed and was bouncing constantly.

That makes perfect sense and probably the reason there were empty seats at the front.
