A damning stat about politics in our country

Not doubting your post but I’d question it’s source. As the National is basically Nichola’s mouthpiece.

I’m amazed to see them use the B word for one.

without reading the article in full let me guess is their solution independence for Scotland ???

Oh I’m not questioning the corruption or the scale of it as it’s incredible what this regime is getting away with, I’m just saying I think publications like that would be stirring the pot regardless (but that’s a separate issue).

the reality is, is that the country now has scandal fatigue.. the oh what have they done now factor, and this plays into boris and the tories hands because each one takes out the sting and the memory of the other. So each week the importance of he last scandal dissipates.

no one resigns ( this is new in Uk politics as gone is this chivalrous notion of ministerial accountability where “one falls ones sword” for the good of the party) and no one id sacked now either.

so today’s scandal that would one have been enough To sink a uk govt really is tomorrow’s fish and chip paper
