There's been quite a flurry of activity these past few days. As soon as it was reported that bids had been received for Akpom, they decided that it would be best to leave him out games and the club understands that he is likely to be leaving. No way back into the side if he does. Provided that a deal can be done, they're hoping to replace with him (most likely with a striker).

Silvera has caught the eye in training and in matches - a player who has been likened by me to John Barnes.

Engel has followed Boro on Instagram, if rumours are to be believed, and so the club are now aiming to get that deal done. He can play pretty much any position on the field but he's only good at left-back, really.

That's pretty much it for now - no other deals in the offing.

interesting to hear that’s there’s no way back into the side for him if he leaves.

I’d kind of hoped he might fly back sometimes from Amsterdam and play the odd game for us.☹️

Something in the Bitello link.. heard a few genuine ITK whispers today.

Also a very tenuous link surrounding a player 6’3 on teesside today for talks..

Not as interesting as trying to find out who this guy was/is.. 25-30 years old.. facial hair..

but a bit older, bulkier, and taller.. and with facial hair.

no position, club, nationality.. just that.

Thought it was very interesting about the Bitello link.. there’s always a twist from that source so maybe its something like loaning him from Arsenal.. or maybe another player from Gremio (fitting the above description perhaps)

No White Lightning.. not seen a 6’3 player linked. Just passing info on.
