A big positive from yesterday

A brace for Latte Lath. The first one is a brilliant goal. I've said it all along that this lad will get goals. His movement and pace is top drawer. He could have (and should have) had a hat trick on the day. He will miss chances in games but his clever movement is what allows him to get the chances in the first place. If he was absolutely clinical he wouldn't be playing for us as he's got some great attributes. He's one of the fastest players we've had in a long time and particularly against some of the weaker defences in the league, he's going to cause all kinds of problems. His work rate is also very impressive.

I'm sure there's a lot more to come from him and with Carrick's coaching I'm sure he will go from strength to strength. Fair play to the recruitment team again as I think we may have found a hidden gem in Latte Lath.

We will see more from him next year when he has settled down.
i see a raw player today, desperate to impress his new team and fans, so is busting a gut to do it. Some of it is coming off, but a lot is a bit wayward.
A plus that i also see, is his attitude. Always keeps going, no matter what’s happened.

I thought taking him off pretty much killed our chances of nicking an equaliser. It was like being down to 9 with Coburn.

Hoping it gives him a bit of confidence, I was ripping my hair out with some of misses in between his first and second goal.

I think it's this attitude that will see him do well. He won't stop trying to improve and Chuba showed us what a player can do when things finally 'click'.

Agree although I don't think Carrick had much choice, he was gassed. There was a break on in the second half you could see he was clearly struggling to catch up with the play.

He works his nuts off, but also won't be used to the pace of the league and hasn't started many games yet. His fitness will improve the more he plays.

Manu leaps like a salmon, which is impressive as he isn’t the tallest striker in the league. Two cracking finishes yesterday.

When Coburn came on we were down to 10 men so when he won the ball he had no one to lay off too. I thought Sammy was the wrong player to bring on, too lightweight.

He lacks composure and seems to over think it in front goal when he has almost too much time, probably better with half a chance when he can just hit it but hopefully that's something he can develop over time

I think Coburn brings more to the side personally. He just holds things up for us, takes pressure off the side and gives other players the chance to play - i also think he’s a better finisher than Lath. ELL just seems to fluff all his best chances and he just can’t hold the ball up very well which is important if you’re the lone striker. I do think he’s very effective coming on as a substitute when defenders are tiring a little though.

His minutes per goal ratio is much higher than I’d realised, a goal every 174 minutes.

I'd like to think that there is a way of combining Lath and Coburn. Together they would test every defence in this league.

Might happen next week, with Latte Lath on the left or right maybe?

He's better than Chuba at the same age and will improve.

Was yesterday the first time Leeds let in 2 goals at home this season?

Either this last press conference or the one before Carrick suggested pairing the two of them might be a possibility.
yeah was thinking that, especially next week with Jones missing, play Lath a bit wider with Coburn in the middle could also take a bit of pressure of him been the lone striker
