So why only 4 mins injury time.
Are we saying the only time the game was stopped was 8 x 30 secs per sub = 4 mins
Trainer was on several times, as well as at least full 2 mins for Crooks near end of game.

Yes, really poor from the referee- there is so much time wasted in games now. The clock should stop for every halt in play and injury so fans aren’t being short changed. Maximum ten seconds for keepers to take goal kicks instead of the now normal 30 seconds plus

You don't need a timekeeper you just need good referees capable of doing their job. Sadly it's a long time since we have a half decent ref never mind a good one.

We have had two games on the bounce where the opponents goalkeeper has time wasted at every opportunity throughout the game.

I’m both games a warning was issued but no further action despite continuing to do it.

Refs need to grow a back bone and issue a few yellows to ge the game back on track and so it won’t be tolerated

But as you say we haven't got good refs doing their jobs. I agree with JVM a dedicated timekeeping 5th official would be a good solution to the problem.

The amount of time spent by away teams goal keepers taking a goal kick is ridiculous, likewise with free kicks and throw ins - unless of course the away team is behind

There was over two mins taken before our free kick at 78 mins. Then another 2 taken when Crooks was down. Then at least 30 seconds on every throw in/free kick/goal kick they had. Plus the subs. How on earth only four mins was given was beyond me. The referees need to clamp down on that kind of time wasting, it's been rediculous in the last two games.
