Rose
Loftus-Cheek
Welbeck
Delph

Some of those fellas have had a bit of a fall from grace in less than 3 years.

Loftus-Cheek is the one I'm most disappointed at.

During his loan stint at Palace he looked like a real player and a handful for the opposition.

But this season for Fulham he's not been anywhere near as effective.

I don't think Cahill has had a massive fall from grace mind. He's 35 years old now and even when he starts for Palace, he looks decent and is more often than not, their best defender.

Yeah agree about Cahill, feels like a long-time since he played for England though which was the only reason I included him. Same with Young although he's had a good season by all accounts.

Have to say some of them were poor anyway. Jones is a cart horse, Cahill and Young are far too old now, Delph was never good enough, how he ever got to play for Man City amazed me, but England more so. Rose has had his mental health issues unfortunately, Welbeck and Butland both average, nowt special in their pomp. As said above, Loftus-Cheek is the one that looked like he was ready to kick on and hasn’t

Loved that goal Welbeck scored the other week though.

Also interesting that only 6 survivors from the last Euros fiasco. Walker, Sterling, Rashford, Kane, Henderson, Stones.
