I was shocked to look at the league table and staring blankly back was Sheffield Wednesday a mere 6 points behind us. Considering their abysmal season really puts into perspective how serious our drop in form is and hits home the distinct possibility of a real dog fight approaching to stay in this league. Michael Carrick really needs to prove his worth over between now and the end of the season. I don't see where our next points come from the way we're playing...

Even if we were doing okay, they'd have been closing the gap, they've had a great run of late.
