Would reinforce the notion that the current Australian team at least can't win here. Last home Ashes series was drawn with the Aussies keeping the urn as holders, remember.

I think the injustice and a drawn series will be the motivation they need. A 2-2 reads a lot better that 3-1 and will give us greater hope for the Ashes in Aus later this year.

The app I looked at shows cloud cover for four days and 80% chance of rain on the 5th day.

yeah fingers crossed checked the BBC last night and did not look great, but checked again now and it does look little a bit better, but still rain forecasted this afternoon and on and off Sat and Sunday but hopefully they are wrong
