Actually wilder wanted 5g for great ayton but Scott gave a Nokia 3330It's wilders fault.
It's good, especially outside, but the problem now isn't speed, it's crap coverage indoors. So sat in the rainbow center whilst the two girls have their swimming lessons. Recently upgraded my phone to the pixel 6a and it's got 5G coverage here. It's incredibly quick. Webpages load up instantly. Shame we can't get it in Great Ayton.

Higher frequencies give better bandwidth/ speeds, but the downside is the signals don't go through walls as well.
Loads of places would have been better off juicing up the lower frequency signals, and giving better coverage, as data was fast enough even with good 3G. No point having brilliant 5G if it doesn't work indoors.
I get 1 bar of 4g where I live, and only in one half of the house
Yeah, that works ok, but apparently, sometimes it sounds like I'm talking from the bottom of a swimming pool.isn't that what wi-fi and wi-fi calling is for?
Not if your broadband runs at 0.5meg it isn't.isn't that what wi-fi and wi-fi calling is for?
I was getting 100mb download in the rainbow centre itself but the upload was like 0.08 mm b which didn't make senseIt's good, especially outside, but the problem now isn't speed, it's crap coverage indoors.

Come back soon. New menu starts on Saturday (bit of self promotion never harmed anybody ).We used go in The Buck at Great Ayton for a spot of lunch about 25 years ago when we lived in Middlesbrough. Don’t think they had broadband though.
Same experience. Regular browsing experience is no different as you would reasonably expect. Huge difference when using it for work to shift big data files including streaming of high res video. To be honest got a 5G phone a few months ago and haven‘t notice a lot of difference
