32Red

Someone on Twitter claimed it was 32Red again. Wasn't there talk of the government banning gambling sites from sponsoring football shirts? Maybe during a pandemic isn't the time to bring that in as it would just increase the financial strain on clubs.

Well that's what I meant. You can stick Bulkhaul on the shirt to help your other business, I imagine this could be attractive in principle to Gibson if football fans seeing it would improve his Bulkhaul revenue, but only if the missed revenue for the football club (from another suitor) is worth it. I'd imagine it probably isn't or he'd have done it, or maybe he just doesn't want to 'use' the football club like that.
I looked at it as way of Gibson indirectly putting more money into the club.

Fancy Tesla on your shirt ?
Come and build on teeside fella 😎👍💰

I imagine it wasn’t as great a risk back then when we had ici, heritage hampers, Datsun Cleveland etc compared to how commercial it all is now

can you imagine the gazette sponsoring us now?
