His dad might have worked in the mines in the 70s and chased overtime, but working continuous 7 days at the face......I don't think so. Very heavy, hard, dirty, labour intensive work. Not uncommon for miners to get their mates to cover their shifts/swap etc so this f*cking heroic statement - f*ck right off.
But hey, the distraction continues.

The Conservatives said miners were grossly over paid in the 1970s - so if his man worked 7 days a week in well paid job for 5 days a week why did he need to grow his own veg and raise chickens to live.
Either miners were poorly paid or he grew his own veg as a past time opposed to through necessity.
