Just watched this on Netflix and must say, it's one of the best things I've seen in ages. I've ordered the Audiobook and hope that's great too
I love the concept - very original! I can't wait to get started on the audio.I'm on the second book, it's an odd one that seems to lose track of the "story" at times.
I guess they've taken the best bits to make the series, taking out a lot of the less exciting bits. I'm hoping it all makes a lot more sense towards the end.
I liked the TV Adaption with a few proviso's - some of the chosen actors for characters did not seem of the type - was Auggie 'nerdy' for example?Just watched this on Netflix and must say, it's one of the best things I've seen in ages. I've ordered the Audiobook and hope that's great too
It all makes sense in book three.I'm on the second book, it's an odd one that seems to lose track of the "story" at times.

I enjoyed it but plot holes were annoying. Too many to list & not related to the science.I liked the TV Adaption with a few proviso's - some of the chosen actors for characters did not seem of the type - was Auggie 'nerdy' for example?
I said this elsewhere and repeat here - Spoiler for those yet to watch:
Too many coincidences, like the cancer issue and the ship to meet the ship they were building needing less weight. How come the only people in the world hitting back were 5 Grad types from Oxford and an obnoxious leader plus a single cop/detective type - where was the rest of the worlds effort? I did enjoy the storyline but I had guessed where it was going long before that Mike Evans ship conversation. So a 6.5/10 for me
