3-0 up within 20 minutes in a league game

My first thought was the Bolton game in 06-07 (final score 5-1), but I looked it up and it turns out that our third goal went in after 23 minutes. Close, but no cigar.
 
According to Quest tonight... they still can’t work it out. Evidently it was before Colin Murray was born. Liked his comment about McNair being Zidane tonight!
 
Dont know last time but when we beat Brighton 9-0 in August 1960 we were 3-0 up after 13 mins and 4-0 up after 26 mins.
 
Man City last game of the season but that safe years ago. Also there was a sending of and I don't think we started scoring until after the sending of

Reminds me of the group of people who used to sit behind me at the Riverside. I can distinctly remember them moaning like hell when, after being 3 up at half time, we never scored in the second half.
The same fools stormed out at half time in the UEFA cup semi final and never got back in :)

Yes I’ve never understood that either it’s a 90 min game and wether you win it in the 1st or 91st minute it doesn’t matter.
