2nd Test Eng v NZ

It's harder for Stokes and Bairstow to get say 120 more runs than NZ to get one of them out, but it is all about that wicket, because if NZ don't get it within the next 100 runs, England will be big favourites then.

I'm reminded of that scene in the Battle of Britain when everything is up and Churchill asks Park "what other reserves have we?" ................... "There are none" came the reply.

This is great to watch, and what I wanted when Stokes was going after them in the first innings, it was playing quick then, which made this possible.

Even if we don't win, this should be great for viewing figures, and progressive attacking batting will make the game much easier for us in the long term, as it means we can open far more doors.

If we can get to 80 to go without losing both of these, then it should be in the bag.

NZ are throwing this away!

Bowling short to Bairstow and Stokes with an old ball on a ground with short boundaries...

Cunning plan if it works.

I'm very much in the jaded from watching England collapse camp.

1 wicket can soon become 3 and then it gets super tense.

Let's hope we can do it as it would be a major psychological boost.
