27 years today we said goodbye to our beloved Ayresome Park

There was only one part of the ground I had never been in and that was the SE corner as it was the away section for 99% of my Boro life.
Luton sent their tickets back and I got one in the SE in the last ever game :)
I had my Zenith Final ticket, Pools at home (1st home game after liquidation), home villa ticket (1st live televised match), last Ayresome ticket, first Riverside ticket, Ostrava tickets home and away(our end), Eindhoven, all Wembley tickets. All gone - no idea where they went. I still have my Cardiff ticket only because I had it framed.

I will never forget that the few Luton fans in the gap between the East Stand and SE Corner brought out a flag after the final whistle ' Good Luck Boro in the Prem'. I thought that was a lovely thing to do. I could never be balanced enough to be so gracious to opposing fans for at least an hour after a game. 😅
