Most likely to be away game.
Championship starts 5th August PL starts 12th August.
Newcastle are at home on the 12th our games usually coincide with theirs.
So we will probably be away on the 5th.

It could be at home, our and Sunderland's fixtures at home coincided regularly last season. Our 1st match was at home same as them, Boxing day we were both at home and so on, the only big dates they were the opposite was the last day of the regular season. Newcastle apart from on one or two occasions are never at home the same time as Sunderland.

+ I am hoping for a Home fixture then our first league away game on the 12th at Cardiff which is definitely going to be a home fixture date for them as they play England on the 5th at the Millennium for a pre Rugby world cup friendly.
