I would've driven up from London for this but I have a flight in the morning. Wish I could be there to see some of our debutants, even if it sounds like a pretty uninspiring performance so far.
 
And for what. Total balls up by Warnock. If you haven't learnt the lessons of fielding understrength teams in the EFL cup by his age you wonder what was going through his mind. Senior moment, like a bumbag full of signed photos.

He's been knocked out of the cup completions early in virtually every one of his promotion seasons.

Not saying we're getting promoted, but it doesn't have that much of an impact on what he's actually bothered about.
 
Exactly, it's a nothing game. Chance to look at the kids, nothing more.

I'm sure those present wouldn't have gone conditionally on a Boro win and I'm sure they'll have had a much better night then me sat at home, regardless of result.
 
His team selection was an insult to those fans that travelled tonight. A non trier, as it would be known in racing circles.

If that is acceptable, then the fans really ought to put the same effort in and not bother attending such games. Waste of time, effort and money.

He's right in the fact that we can't gamble on games like this.

Same people will moan. We don't have the squad. Remember going to Villarreal away and McLaren getting the same criticism. He was rotating a big squad for a long season and he was right to do so.

Warnock has a Tiny squad in comparison and needs to protect every starting player till more strength is added. The league's the priority.
