1977-78 Home Top Original?

that band looks too big, maybe stretched? Maybe the band on an original was a pieced in white insert and has stretched?

Its definately not an original, even though the shirts sold to the general public at the time were made from similar non-shiney material (unlike the ones players wore).
But the main give away is that the white band doesn't continue around the back. Also the badges weren't embroided on the fans version. There was no 'adidas' under the trefoil logo either.

I've still got mine from when I was at school - well partially. When it became to small for me I cut out the centre area to make a mini Austria-style flag to pin on my bedroom wall.

Again quality Red, I was trying to purchase the 77-78 shirt off a retro site. Below is my oldest shirt, 1974-75 away top & signed by 6 members of that season

I got the adidas datsun cleveland one copy off ebay. Even has the adidas bush in the number. That copy looks crap but im sure ive seen one and looked better in real life.

I used to have that shirt, bought from Reeds in Darlo for my 10th birthday, sadly long since gone. My oldest now is the evening gazette skill top c90-92.
