Regulated free ports.
And what can "our" freeports do that EU one's can't?
Regulated free ports.
That's just your optimism for an argument.
It’s 100% due to Brexit tho mate. It’s an uncomfortable truth for many but the narrative that free ports operate in the EU is true but also completely false. The free port we will have would not be possible within the EU. Embrace it mate. It’s a very good thingI think, given your like of thought, you’re getting confused.
No one is complaining about jobs coming to Teesside. Everyone is complaining about you parroting the potential mistruth of a politician. Also you trying to falsely attribute it to Brexit. Those are the problems we have. I’m not the first to explain this to you but I imagine given your slow stubbornness I won’t be the last
It's definitely wind related...If it's wind related
all free ports have regulations once the goods cross boundaries into the host countryRegulated free ports.
Free ports are nothing to do with Corporation tax, PAYE or NIC.I think everyone would be able to get a lot more excited if it didn’t come out of the mouth of a lying Tory. He mentioned an awful lot of things that will benefit this company but not an awful lot about the employees. The pitch was probably come over you won’t pay any tax business rates or pesky NI contributions and a ready made workforce of poor people who’ll work for a pittance!
I hope to god it comes off and is the start of many and a boom time but you can’t help being cynical where Tories are involved.
the debt caused by economic failures becomes ours to pay as tax payers...so yeahWhat a ridiculous comparison... No one is asking you to invest your own money here are they?

It would also be used as an excuse if they didn’t.Brexit is an excuse to cover for the government failing to invest in a given area.

I know mate. It’s tough to take stance so wholeheartedly and then realise and admit u maybe got it wrong. He can't embrace it... His stance won't allow him. It goes against everything he stands for.
well that is an over-simplification. The more debt you have the worse things get, you can'tjust say more debt wont make it worse. Well you can say that, but you would be wrong.I think we've got enough debt not to care about it anymore. We'll not pay it back in a hundred lifetimes.
specifics? The free port we will have would not be possible within the EU.

European free ports 10% corporate income taxAnd what can "our" freeports do that EU one's can't?
Inversion tariffs. Read up on EU free ports and the model we are taking. Not trying to patronise you but there is a big difference. EU free ports aren’t really free portsspecifics?
Again that's not true. If I spend £10m buying god knows how many houses to rent with a 25% deposit I will be better off than borrowing £5m.well that is an over-simplification. The more debt you have the worse things get, you can'tjust say more debt wont make it worse. Well you can say that, but you would be wrong.
again a complete simplification. If that were the case, then tripling our national debt every year would be the way to go, and would have impact on our lives......good job you are not the chancellor. If you physically can't afford to pay it back it doesn't matter whether it is £100 or £1000.
People often live their whole lives in debt and have a jolly good time with it.
