‘The Big Lie’ - Jeremy Corbyn Documentary

I've lived here for almost 30 years. Never met anyone who claimed IB is in North Yorkshire.
"the Ingleby set are the new Marton set of old".
"everyone knows a Kevin and Claire from Ingleby Bar-wick who talk down to their friend and take more happiness from seeing people struggle than they do from there own very limited success"
How the hell woud you know?
I like you Newy but you're talking out of your aris mate
I like you too. Pretty sure there was a petition to have Ingleby Barwick recognised as part of North Yorkshire.. something to do with signage and postal addresses. I half remember a woman on the news outside of Tesco saying they were more like Yarm than Thornaby and they didn’t want to be associated with Teesside.. she might have been a Tory councillor.

I’ve met and spoke to people like that.. it’s just my own personal experience. I have some friends who are like that. You get them everywhere.. just seems to be more prevelent in IB
(Probably because it’s so big and has such a large population)

As I’ve said there are worse generalisations to suffer from than haven’t a diamanté live laugh love sign abound your fireplace.

Pro Jeremy Corbyn thread quickly turns into an anti Kier Starmer thread. And I'm accused of 'always being the first' to bring up JC. Obsessed the lot of you 🤣
To be fair, you introduced JC to a thread about Middlesbrough Council that had nothing to do with him and nobody else had mentioned him, and you also introduced him into a thread about defending your own country against invaders, that had nothing to do with him and nobody else had mentioned him.

This is a thread about the lies told about Corbyn and how the centrists and Blairites in his own party were complicit in throwing two elections, so it isn't surprising that Starmer's name should be raised and you really have no room to call others obsessed.

To be fair, only in response to exiled introducing 'idiot centrist Blair' to a thread about Middlesbrough Council that had nothing to do with him and nobody else had mentioned him.

Corbyn was the tories useful idiot.

There’s a reason the tories keep bringing him up.
The reason is they don’t want to every see the likes of him again. Arguably their biggest ever threat. There’s a reason why David Cameron was screaming for Kier Starmer to be Labour Labour in the House of Commons.

Next election will be Labour vs Conservatives in name only it will be closer to Lid Dem vs UKIP and in reality it will be more like The Independent Group for Change vs The British Union of Fascists.

right or further right.. not a decent one between them

I said “useful idiot”

Btw anything that harms starmer or the Labour Party boosts and plays into Tory hands.
which include Starmers words and actions.. something he’s done very well the past two elections. Genuine justified criticism is shot down with calls of ‘Tory enabler’

it’s the same from the other side ‘anti semite’ seems to be the most popular one that they run with. Seemingly no fascist comparisons are allowed until they turn on the gas in the concentration camps. I appreciate very distasteful.. but then so are the actions of this Conservative and Unionist government.

Astonishes me that so many posters on here seem to think that Starmer is going to make a massive swerve to the left as soon as he wins the next election. He won't don't do that. The Labour Party is f*cked with him leading it.

Well, the Labour Party is exactly how the MPs wanted it.. no excuses. They have full control of it now and make decisions policies etc based on their wants and needs.

There will be no massive swerve to the left, at best we will end up with a David Cameron/Theresa May era Conservative Party.

Place markers like Jacob Young and Simon Clarke will be replace with the likes of Dr Paul Williams and Jessie Joe Jacobs.. a resounding success will be claimed no matter what and the expulsion of Corbyn and the left will be said to have been justified.

The Conservative Unionists have added more to the national debt in their 13 years of misrule than in the entire previous 1,600 years since the Roman Empire withdrew from Britannia in 410 A.D.

2010: £0.9 trillion
2023: £2.4 trillion

Our National Debt will cover the payoff for the current batch of tories they’ve had their fingers in the cookie jar from the off.. they’ve set up their mates and secured the future wealth of their families for generations to come..

To be fair to Starmer he did swerve left once, but that was only to run over a cyclist.

Yeah you tell 'em BF! And they all wear donkey jackets and live in Tooting! 🤪👀
He'll accuse you of saying that you're right, and he's wrong, and then get into a big huff when he reads that. I like BF a lot btw. Is it my turn to wear the donkey jacket this week, or is it yours? Power to the people!

I wish that you'd stop editing your posts and adding more to them after I've already 'liked' them newy.

It's simply an acceptance of the reality of our voting system. We all know that to not vote for labour will result in further tory misery. Nothing changes without getting behind Starmer either with gusto or holding your nose. No one needs to pretend that Starmer is brilliant, and constant attacks on him for not being Corbyn are nothing but a distraction.

Perfect is the enemy of good. So...
