No, it's not irrelevant.Whilst I see your broader point, I think the issue extends far beyond UK party politics and it's a bit irrelevant bringing Sunak into the conversation.
Pretty sure that's a war crime?Israel’s blockade of Gaza that has been ordered.
2 million people live in Gaza.
Sunak ok with starving 2 million people of basic necessities it seems?
It's probably neither a war crime nor a crime against humanity IN THIS CASE.Pretty sure that's a war crime?

I don't think there's much sympathy for Hamas right now in the west.
No they aren't. But what did Hamas think was going to happen when they attacked Israel? The 2 million people they are going to starve aren’t all Hamas though are they?

Artsakh was like that for a few months while Azerbaijan starved them and nobody cared.
I didn't say it was ok. What I said was - what did Hamas think was going to happen? That’s irrelevant.
The people in Gaza weren’t responsible and should not be suffering the consequences.
Go and watch the harrowing videos on Twitter of parents in Gaza holding their dead children and then come back and tell me this is ok.
Exactly, but as the Azeris have oil to sell the world looks the other way. They should have done.
Two wrongs don’t make a right.
I agree with you and can’t get my head around the response from Israel and feel it is way over the top. At the same time I’m struggling with what Hamas did and watching the videos of innocent people being hunted down and killed is beyond belief. Can you imagine putting yourself in their place. The number of stories coming out of loved ones being on the phone to their families when Hamas breaks in heartbreaking. Then you watch the Palestinian children suffering due to bomb attacks. Where are the grown ups here? That’s irrelevant.
