Are the Government massaging the death rate.

the attitude of the public changed with the Barnard Castle incident. Now it’s the public who can make a difference. Be sensible and help get this back under control.

No problems down here in the south east, it’s you northerners and the weird things you get up to together 😉

I’ve done my bit from day one, it’s the government that hasn’t so I’m not really interested any more. I won’t stop visiting my girlfriend even if there is a full lockdown and if they do want to bring in another lockdown then Rishi has to get the chequebook out again otherwise the mob will come knocking on the door at Downing Street. The police don’t have enough resources to deal with emergency calls let alone millions of angry people. The left might finally get what they want with the masses in charge and calling the shots.

So long as we rid ourselves of simpleton Tories we'll be ok.

Well that isnt exactly true in the South East. I live in an area in the home counties which is at 36 per 100000 and worryingly increasing fast. I feel its a as a result of partly the eat out to help out scheme which packed restaurants to bursting and we have an infrastructure of schools which are back fully open. A second wave was always predicted and its hitting us now. I cant see anything but a second lockdown sorting it out before deaths start to rise again.

Hopefully if they do a second lockdown they do a proper job of bankrupting the economy this time. Might be able to buy 2 houses next year. Unfortunately having 350k in the bank doesn’t count as income so my ex will still have to claim benefits for my son when we are both unemployed.

Look its a terrible thing and am so sorry that it will be a huge loss for you personally if we go into a second lockdown. It will for my family too.

Many of us suffer including my partner who was made redundant last week. But I dont want to see hospital cases rocket and huge pressure on our health service but I fear it will occur unless we bring this under control again.

What about a third or fourth time? You honestly can’t see the bigger picture, keep accepting your freedoms being eroded, being blamed for killing granny and expected to pay the price because the government can’t do their job. They have put the burden and the price on the public and shifted the blame because they have failed to set up a adequate test system in 7 months. Protect the nhs we heard back in March, sorry but there’s no excuse that someone that needs a test shouldn’t be able to get one now. Imagine being able to get a test that day and your results within 48 hours, that would do more for driving numbers down than a ridiculous lock down again. I won’t lock down again, if it’s the choice of breaking the law and seeing my girlfriend rather than staring at the wall by myself for 2 month being told by my employer every day that I’m probably going to lose my job again then I’ll break the law this time.
