Magic beans aplenty though.Obviously no monorail or new hospital.

I bet the evening would be a long and inspirational one.Everyone round my house for a parmo.
I’d vote for Thornley if he had any chance of winning based off that.
Does anyone seriously believe that Houchen is only 37?
Needs to address his facial hair situation, in my opinion.I’d vote for Thornley if he had any chance of winning based off that.
Not personally but he obviously was to others. He secured a landslide and was a minor celebrity in his campaigning. To say otherwise is pointless. For the record i think he’s a c9nt.Are you seriously calling Boris Johnson impressive?
Praying for a McEwan victory stillThe whole thing on the radio was a clusterfcuk but it played exactly into Houchens hands. He came across as a bit of a pr*ck but he made McEwen look like a weak fool.
McEwen was a terrible Labour Party choice and it has been backed up with a simply ridiculous campaign of “Houchen is a tosser” history has repeatedly shown that the electorate don’t like campaigns based on personal attacks
The public already know that Houchen is a tosser and are willing to turn a blind eye on the promise of investment and jobs. Labour needed a strong manifesto of what McEwen was going to do differently… Labour have failed to do that.
Labour had this in the bag and with a bit of hard work could have walked this election. Instead they have handed it on a plate to the Tories yet again
The only people pushing the "Houchen is a tosser" narrative is us at Teesside Resistance. The whole thing on the radio was a clusterfcuk but it played exactly into Houchens hands. He came across as a bit of a pr*ck but he made McEwen look like a weak fool.

Chris got flustered and then the credits rolled. It was a poor ending which is a shame. I'm tired of the Labour pussyfooting tbh. I want to see some venom and some real fight. Deep think in your own time, we need action to get this region off its ar9e.The only people pushing the "Houchen is a tosser" narrative is us at Teesside Resistance.
Because he is.
And people have told us they agree. But we're not directed by Labour nor is that Labour's official message.
I agree Chris performed poorly yesterday (although Ben's bully boy tactics didn't help, that attack at the end was just plain nasty and gave Chris no time to explain, Ben just wanted a yes or no answer when it's not as simple as that.)

Might be too late for that and if not sounds like it would be a money pit to save and operate it.Chris has also said he will re-open the transporter bridge
That along with the fact no one had any money for it's proper upkeep.Might be too late for that and if not sounds like it would be a money pit to save and operate it.
It's a shame it was not treated as the icon it is but on the other hand reflects accurately the decay of the old industries that caused it to be built in the first place.
That's part of the problem with the Tories changing the voting system last year.
Last time you could vote by first and second preference.
They want the vote to be split.
It'll get sorted nationwide one day, I hope.
Sadiq Khan said on the Alistair Campbell/Rory Stewart podcast yesterday that Labour will change the voting system back to what it was for London Mayor. So that might apply to the others too.
