I like themSonghoy Blues. Blew my mind twice, first with the awesome music, second when I found out everyone else I played it to thought it was total schyte
Are you scandavian? I really can not see the fascination in repetitive angrily played instruments with somebody growling instead of singing. We all have them. Orbit Culture, only listened because they were announced as support of next year's Trivium show. WOW
They're like every band I love rolled into one
I'm not but what I absolutely love about them is they're unapologetically heavy. They're fantastic musicians and I think the vocalist is quality, he can also sing. Are you scandavian? Love Rival Sons yet I've never known another human who knows or likes them. Me and my mates go to quite a few gigs and they've never heard of them.Mammoth WvH (Wolfgang van Halen) - having seen them supporting Slash & Myles Kennedy.
Also, Rival Sons. They’re excellent. I had never paid them much attention, for no reason, until recently. Really enjoying their albums now though.
Another Rivals fan!Love Rival Sons yet I've never known another human who knows or likes them. Me and my mates go to quite a few gigs and they've never heard of them.
My Mrs was going to see Linkin Park with her friends in Manchester. I had nowt on so had a look what other gigs and randomly went to see a band called Tokyo Police Club. They were brilliant and I became a big fan. Unfortunately as they're from Canada and don't have a big following I've never gotten to see them again and just heard they are splitting up. Have a listen to this.
It doesn't matter whether you can see the fascination or not. It is about what the poster thinksAre you scandavian? I really can not see the fascination in repetitive angrily played instruments with somebody growling instead of singing.
Love all of his stuff but The Pale Fountains first album Pacific Street stands out for me. Whole album here.Currently going through a phase of discovering all of Micheal Heads back catalogue. Was aware of a few Shack songs but not much more.
Absolutely loving it all. A proper genius
Try The Soft Parade.Neil Young, saw a tribute band in Antwerp many years ago and they were amazing. So much so I bought a cd the next day and was a fan.
Also The Doors, knew little else other than Light My Fire but was blown away when given a cd and played it.
Had a listen, not bad at all. Reminds me of The Strokes.Love Rival Sons yet I've never known another human who knows or likes them. Me and my mates go to quite a few gigs and they've never heard of them.

Great band, would like to see them. Loved lullaby’s to paralyzeQueens of the Stone Age , it was bit more like my mate used to listen to them obsessively and I just closed down to their music because I was tired of listening to them but as a tribute to him( he is gone) I made my mind up to get a ticket and see them in Cardiff last year, they were brilliant, I left the venue wanting more, I might get to try and see them again this year if possible.
Can’t agree more with initial comment, posters were asked about their opinion, that was the idea, not to pull the p1ss out of other people’s favourite music. I love posts like this, a chance to maybe discover something new!It doesn't matter whether you can see the fascination or not. It is about what the poster thinks
