Jedi....newwy...coluka...adi...

Exiled_in_Herford was a funny one. He seemed to be permanently in a bad mood with everyone and everything!
Met the bloke a number of times and he was actually really sound!

Erimus was always on the verge of flouncing, hated people questioning anything he said and expected people to still respect his points. Strange behaviour for any form of conversation.

Not strange for people that lean to the right politically in my experience.

I do hope Norman comes back on, I thought it was a little bit to early for him to disappear to France, although he has retired now so can suit himself to a degree.
Anyway, he is always upbeat and wanting a laugh, a very decent man and poster.
I`d like to see Newy and Jedi back on too.
I haven't gone away, I'm just lurking in the shadows and using my time more constructively rather than wasting hours on here talking with people who have more in common with Matt Le Tissier than the real world. 🤣🤣🤣

Seriously, I felt I was spending too much time on here and decided to follow a little advice from AET and have a break. I logged out to prevent myself from randomly posting and this is the first time I have logged on since 12 March - Will someone please tell Diego that Matt Clarke isn't Virgil Van Dyke and is only fourth choice center-half at the Boro 🤣🤣🤣.

Thanks for the best wishes from those who asked after me or spoke kindly about me.

Edit: It would be interesting to know what trait Borolad259 thought we all had in common!!

Suspect erimus suffered a lot from cognitive dissonance.

Although in his mind he probably thinks this was the case, it's not like people were slagging off the tories without evidence, there was tonnes of it. Yet he refused to shift an iota from his position and ended up taking every, usually very well evidenced, criticism of the tories as a personal attack on him.

He used to say things like "I don't know that much about politics" but then defend them. Very lacking in self awareness.

I don't think he was a fundamentally a bad bloke, but he'd well and truly drank the cool aid and didn't have any critical thinking skills.

He seems much happier over there where he can proudly state his support for crooks, con artists and racists without anyone pointing out some uncomfortable truths.

I miss Herford the Corporal, he was a good lad and loved his football. He bit very easily though, but always gave it a good go.
I hope he is doing well.
He loved his Queen and saluting, polishing, marching etc, so much so he got badges and medals. Always seemed more Muttley than Dastardly to me.

I’m very anti monarchy, establishment and no time for the forces either really other than respect to those who’ve risked it to serve, it takes stones I don’t have.

Despite big differences, we got on really well, used to meet for a pint, have a laugh and a whinge and even made a few away games together.

Just shows really, we’ve often more in common than we realise.
