The Championship coverage on SKY next year.

Looking forward to it. Considering the Championship is the most exciting League in the World, the coverage from ITV is pathetic. Hardly any action, few interviews but plenty of adverts. (n)

I actually think the punditry and reporting of live games from Sky when it comes to the EFL is really good. I like David Prutton as a presenter and the range of pundits is usually good, apart from Lee Hendrie.

Sky’s business model is changing. It won’t be long before no one has a dish and no one will commit to a 12 month contract given that the IPTV switchover will allow everyone to switch on and off things like NowTV and TNT very easily (they can already but it will become even more prevalent).

I think they will probably do a decent job of the increased coverage though I know the lack of Saturday 3pms will be an issue for some people.

Reading the information from the statement. International users will still have audio-visual arrangements.

"CHANGES TO CURRENT WAYS OF WATCHING
Will matches still be available to watch via iFollow, or Clubs’ alternative streaming services?

From the 2024/25 season onward, this new deal with Sky Sports will effectively replace the EFL’s domestic video streaming option provided via iFollow and club streaming services
Audio services will remain alongside existing audio-visual arrangements for international audiences."

It's meant to all be announced up until the 3rd round of the FA Cup at the start of the season, that's all the way till January.

So that's over half the season in advance, and they've promised to give more warning for the rest.
Thanks, should help with cheaper advance rail fares.

Not so sure about that. You would assume that Sky will be selling the games abroad so I would think there will be streams available. You can get all Sky's games on a dodgy firestick already. At least that's what I was told from a friend
The way I read it is no ifollow so that definitely kills the weekend majority of weekend games
