Anyone else unable to sleep?

Son was asking about this as he seems to be having a bad time of sleeping of late. I don't know all the ins and outs - is there a recommended dosage and possibly brand you know of that I could pass on for him?

Great if you don't disturb the SO but hard to do if they wake because of your nocturnal habits :)
I use SUPREME CBD,they have a lot of good offers on,if you use code SUPREME30 you get 30 % off and they often do BOGOF offers.
You just keep a little bit using the pipette provided under your tongue for about a minute and then swallow,I started off on the lower strength and gradually work your way up.
Be warned it tastes minging but it does work.

ZMA tablets help me. Can pick them up in Holland & Barratt/Boots etc.

One about 30 minutes for bed

And here I am again. Ok, it’s only 1am but I’m wide awake (after about 2hrs sleep last night) and there’s no sign of me dropping off.

Ho-and indeed-hum

Up from 4am today, no idea why, listening to a podcast and now browsing on here waiting for the morning. I should go downstairs but don't want to wake anyone up.

I couldn’t this morning, haven’t had a decent night sleep for a while now. Tossed and turned for a little while but thought sod it, got up and was in the gym by 4am. Not a usual thing I must say but might see how it goes! Not sure if it’s just my body’s natural sleep pattern.

I know it's obvious but regular exercise - getting your heart rate up and feeling it during the day - does aid sleep.

Apple Watch feeds some useful date through on sleeping patterns to your Health App and it shows how long you are in REM, then deep sleep and then awake and offers advice via links based on that data.
Not for everyone mate… I wake up, take the dog for a walk, go to work (sparky in construction so always moving/on my feet), go to the gym/run or yoga (some days both), come home and walk the dog, cook dinner and still then struggle to get a good nights kip! But as already said, I’ve just accepted that’s how I am and i can run on at least two nights of bad sleep before I start getting a little short fused with people.

Caffeine was my issue. It messes with your mind and sleep.
Same here, my sleep pattern is miles better since cutting down to two cups of coffee in the morning and none in the afternoon or evening…also prevents that mid afternoon crash at work…which required more caffeine. Also knocked all the high caffeine energy drinks on the head - Monster and Red Bull.

I am not saying it is the solution for all and clearly you have other issues that deprive you of solid sleep and I have no wish to diagnose anybody individually. But in general fresh air, exercise is massively beneficial to sleep as is a good balanced diet.

Yes Absolutely don't drink caffeine within 4 hours of sleep time. Not only is caffeine an anti sleep drug the caffeine drink is a diuretic and your bladder will wake you in the middle of the night to pay a visit.

Yeh sorry I didn’t mean to come across dismissive there as I totally agree with what you’re saying.
