Advice thread

People who own big houses tend to have crap cars, unless they've done unbelievably well. So decide which of the two is more important at a young age.

Also, you can be comfortably off working for someone else, but you'll never be rich unless you work for yourself. That being said, the chances of your business failing are pretty high, so depends on how much of a risk taker you are.

Finally, investing in a private pension early, as others have said, is a no brainer.

Oh, and go on holiday. You won't remember doing up the kitchen on your death bed....
 
Learn to meditate; understand the 4 noble truths and try and follow the 8 fold path.
Do this and everything else will fall into place, you'll find peace and nothing at all will bother you, even the thought of dying because you know it's all a self-created illusion.
And take note of what the Buddha said: 'the problem with people is they always think they have more time'
In short, find inner peace and be happy.
 
Spend good money on a good bed, and good shoes (you spend most o& your life in one or the other). Don’t skimp on toilet paper or cling film.
Always look forward to your bed. Be quiet, if someone in the house is sleeping (thanks Bob).
Above all, rock your socks off 🤘
 
Mess about with a compound interest calculation, it should open your eyes a bit .
We now need to find some kind income from a second source in order to live properly ,the earlier you find something to do that the better
