Tight game, unlucky not to be level really from the Azaz chance. Need to have a better final ball. Certainly something to work with second half.

I agree with this statement as he is not a defender & carrick is trying to develop his devensive skills instead of his attacking skills the player is only doing what he is told. under a good manager we wouldnt be playing Howson out of position.
 
We need a new left and right back, two midfielders and two strikers to be anywhere near top six next season - has Lath touched the ball in that first half ?
 
We have to be real, they’re stacked with players we could only dream of having. Still, their goal came from our mistake and we’re not out of the game.

It does show the levels.

We have a lot of work to do in the summer if we are aiming to build a side capable of promotion.

At least 6 quality players short. Either need to spend about £50m or spend on some quality loans. Obviously loans are more feasible but so many people are against it
