Been looking for a holiday for me, Mrs King and my little grandson who's 6.
Looked on all different websites, I'm just totally clueless about package holidays, we usually go to cities and long haul.
Looking just for 7 days, maybe all inclusive somewhere not too far.
Any ideas of places/resorts for September time?

Canary Islands will still be warm in September, but are around 4 - 4 and a half hour flight time (is that too far for what your looking?). As said above Majorca is a decent place, all inclusive will be easy to sort out. Maybe have a look on Jet2 website and they’ll show you plenty of deals tailored to your preferences and budget.

Yeah I found one for majorca around 1600 for 3 of us looked decent too, is that good? I honestly never go all inclusive seems reasonable.

Love Cyprus. Loads of resorts to pick from plus if you hire a car (recommended) they drive on the same side as us which makes it a lot easier. Not the closest but 4.45 hour flight is not that bad. Would recommend Coral Bay lovely beach more than enough bars and restaurants also not that far from Paphos by bus or car.

I was in Rhodes last year and definitely recommend it. We stayed at the time of the wild fires actually but were north on the island so life was normal.

Rhodes Town is brilliant too.

Wouldn't a 6 year old be in school in September? They limits you to school holiday times and then you need to double your budget. Prices are mental

depends what you want. Beach holiday?
I used to take the kids to Calpe, Valencia. Ticks all the boxes for kids (beach and safe swimming) and choice of restaurants etc. A quiet and family friendly alternative to other resorts on that costa. Easy to get to as well.. fly to Alicante and get a bus from airport. No hassle.

Have a look at TUI Holiday Village's. All over Europe and ideal for a six year old, would be cheap in September

Having just come back from Benidorm I thought flights to Alicante were expensive. Not helped by only booking last minute due to wife caring for her parents.

Another recommendation for Holday Village.
The Rhodes one is fantastic. We are trying the Turkey one this summer

Also another recommendation for HVs

We went to the Costa del sol one last summer and going to the Ibiza one this year - The 2 boys loved it last year

This is very reasonable for all inclusive assuming that the hotel gets decent ratings - I look very closely at the reviews before recommending anything. A number of the package providers offer free places for kids. Flight prices in September usually OK especially out of school time, so it's possible you will get somewhere cheaper still.

This summer I'm going to Montenegro all inclusive and it was substantially cheaper than Portugal/Spain etc at the same time, for a very decent 4* hotel. It'll be nice in September too

To reinterate a previous poster check reviews there is a big difference in all inclusives. Majorca and some other areas of spain have an all inclusive rule.. Means an adult is only allowed 6 alcoholic drinks per day, which is about 2 and half pints of beer.
