The three-body problem (Netflix)

I’m on episode 4 now, and so far it’s really good.
I’m liking the cast and it’s well paced. I’m hoping the first series is the first book, rather than the whole trilogy. I’m assuming it is though as there’s no way they could cram the whole trilogy into 8 episodes.

I'm an episode ahead of you, and I'm still really enjoying it. I'll probably finish it off this evening.

Finished the whole thing.

No spoilers, but I thought it had a very good start, started flagging, an episode where nothing at all seemed to happen, and a disappointing end. Shame really. There'll be a second series I'm sure. The book is on my "to read" pile, so I've no idea where the story ended in terms of that.

F.A.O. atomicloonybin, and anyone else who HAS seen the entire series but HAVEN’T yet read the books.

I really liked this series and…

…because there has been so much missed from the books, and some aspects which were rushed, plus a few major changes in this series it won’t spoil your enjoyment of the books when you get around to reading them.

Watched it all in 2 days. Enjoyed it. Some bits slow but lots very good. Panama canal bit was a wow!!
Oh, and Eiza Gonzalas (Auggie) is a stunningly beautiful woman!!!
