Or some one who’s loved one passed away without any human interaction and a socially distanced funeral. Who still can’t get over their loss.

Ditto, my mother passed away during covid in a care home. She had dementia but was put down to covid on her death certificate !! Seven of the family at her funeral, no grandkids allowed !! Our 90 yr old dad sat socially distanced. Sorry for the rant but still processing it all.Never had the chance to say a proper “goodbye” to my Mam cus of covid.

My girlfriends nan died alone with cancer, some people will never ever forgive this government, and rightly so.
I lost my best friend, my friend lost her son. Never got to say goodbye. Time has moved on but it never eases the pain. Thoughts with everyone who suffered during this terrible time

Lost perhaps not a best friend but a god man. He was a staunch anti-vaccine guy and would not take anything offered - when they were applying the oxygen and critical treatment he started to panic and possibly relent but it was way too late and he passed the next day. His wife still blames social media where he was getting his conspiracy views from.

The wife's step mam passed away during covid. We watched the funeral from afar and all the wife warned to do, was go and give her Dad a cuddle but she wasn't allowed to.
She also worked for 10 months as a nurse on a covid ward and I watched her deteriorate before my eyes as the workload took it's toll. So much so, that as soon as working conditions calmed down a little she retired 30 months early worn out and dispirited.
I hate this Government and conspiracy theorists and so called 'influencers' with a passion.
