Second hand EVs

Maybe it’s a different battery type that doesn’t have the same issue. I do remember reading about some hybrids needing new batteries and them not being cheap but they’re likely to be more extreme examples.
Yeah hybrids have been out and in wide use for a very long time though, they will have come on a long way etc.
 
I had a lease once but cant do it now as I live a bit more remote and the beauty of the countryside disagrees with a cars bodywork. After my wife had finished with my last car it looked more like a zebra with all the scratches from brambles and bushes.

Do not, for the love of God, get a tesla then. It has the thinnest paint I've seen on a modern car. You'll literally have an all aluminium car by the end so prone is it to scratches
