I mean it's technically slander, but having a rape case dismissed as a result of key witnesses dropping out is not the same thing as being cleared of rape.

One of those gray areas I guess. I'm not going to lose sleep over anyone calling Greenwood a rapist.

He didn’t call him a ‘convicted rapist’, simply a rapist. If someone rapes or behaves ‘rape-y’, they are still one even if there isn’t enough evidence or will to convict. If the facts are known people will rightly judge and greenwood is clearly utterly deplorable

You're right, until he is judged in a court of law we cannot technically call him a rapist and guilty of abuse and coercive behaviour.
However it is justified to listen to the recordings and come to one of two conclusions. Either he is guilty or they were engaging in roleplay and they are two of the finest and most convincing actors this country have ever produced and they take their "roleplay" incredibly seriously. Take your pick.

You haven’t heard the recordings that his victim released then? They were all over social media. It’s pretty clear what was going on. She then withdrew her complaint - allegedly under pressure from him- and the case was dropped.

But you make your own mind up fella.

I’ve already said - I don’t know. So, in a sense, my mind is made up.

I guess I’m also in a minority as I’m not in the CPS and don’t have access to all the evidence.
And, if you expect me to take a view based on what is reported in the press…. That’s a ’no’.
 
If a bloke outside of football did what Mason Greenwood and got he got filled in.. no one would bat an eyelid.

As it happens he is getting paid a lot of money to play football in a hot country and someone said a hurty word.

Spanish football is embarrassing itself.
 
Based on the recording and the fact charges were originally pressed by his partner, he probably is a rapist. Balance of probabilities and that.

He also breached bail conditions by contacting her, and then she subsequently dropped the complaint. If that doesn't stink, I don't know what does.

Creepy ******.

Nobody's asking you to take a view based on media reporting - rather it's a case of taking a view based on the audio recording of the two people involved that provide an absolutely clear picture of what happened.

If you go onto Google and search for "mason greenwood audio youtube" you'll find several versions of it. The second one that came up when I searched even includes a transcript that is absolutely disgusting to read (as is the audio to listen to).
