When CK was an u16, every man and his dog were after him so a lot of fans had this expectation that he would develop into a first team player.

Gutted. I really wanted him to break through and be the good youth striker we haven't had before and i just went along with the hype around him as when he was banging goals in he seemed to be linked with alot of high profile clubs.
We've had the good young keepers, defenders and midfielders but never really strikers (Campbell, Graham meh) and i thought he could have been it but as mentioned above we've often played without a striker rather than play him so that says a lot.
Not lived up to early potential and if his social media is anything to go by he's quite flashy and a sign of the times with young footballers these days who think they've made it before they have. Good luck to him and fingers crossed we've got a sell-on clause.

He needs to kick start his career and try and play regularly so the move makes sense. I guess Sonny Finch is maybe working his way to fitness and ahead of him, and we obviously have big Josh, so he wasn't going to get a look in here and his previous loans weren't overly successful. I think a lot of the young players must have the same agent who obviously has good links with Bradford and Harrogate in particular. Was surprised to see Harrogate so close to the playoff places in league 2, after being perennial strugglers. Always check to see if Sivi gets a game - he's on the bench regularly but never seems to get many minutes. So tough for young players to break through.

Good point about sonny finch he was ahead of kavanagh .pre injury I saw a lot of finch and I really rated him type of player who can play off the shoulder of the last defender.
I didn't feel the same about kavanagh .Good luck to the lad.
I was also impressed by Joe Gibson too .hope injuries haven't knocked them back

Kav is still this years top scorer in the Premier League Cup so far which is on e of the u21 Cup comps. Think he has 7 with one round of the group stage to go, but that's all by the by now. One of the reasons we signed Alex was that he was last years top scorer in the same comp with 7 in 7 games

world of diference putting them away against boys at that level and in league 1 against 6ft 4 brutes with experience
Looks a bit lightweight for me, same with 'Gilberto'

Good luck to Kav. If he was out of contract in the summer can understand him being transferred especially if he knew another contract wasn’t on offer. I seem to remember on here someone mentioned he potentially had an attitude problem like Spence

Nah. Danny Graham left because we were in the Prem and had much better players - it was only have we slid down to the champo did that make a difference.

This was always on the cards. I have it on good authority that his dad (who I believe is also his agent) has been very unhappy with his lack of first team opportunities, especially given our Injury crisis. The club were informed a couple of months back that he wanted to leave.
