MLS transfer window is open till April 23rd. Roster compliance date is February 23rd. So not sure if any transfer needs to be complete before the roster deadline or it's just to show they are inside the budget rules at that point. Season starts that week. You'd think they'd want him before that...

I'm not sure. Most of the bigger academies blood their youngsters up an age group to try and help with their progression. Then the promising ones go out on loan instead of playing under 21 football.
