Hayden Hackney

We have a real good crop of young players coming from at the moment, just hope they get opportunities like Hackney has. I do have some sympathy with Wilder, there is so much pressure on results, to throw in a young player is a big risk. Leo had nothing to lose really when he did it.
 
I remember when he initially signed his first ever deal, a lad I know from school raved about him (Was his cousin like) think he was right, the lad is special
 
Just didn't see him slotting in as well as he has.

Thought he was okay in his first few games, but he's looked like a Championship regular since then.

It's a funny old game, I thought we'd seen the last of him after that ban for spitting at another player on loan.
 
Sheffield United is probably our biggest game of the season so far, the players who are starting at the moment and thriving deserve to start. I wouldn't drop any of them!

Can't wait for Wednesday, should be a cracking atmosphere.

No that would send all the wrong messages, Carrick wont change a winning team unless someone is under performing or feeling a niggle and everyone wants to be apart of this squad, something special is on the horizon!

Both him and howson disappeared. Probably the best hackney has played for us in the first half today but it was alarming how the team looked so poor in the 2nd half.
