I don’t feel it is. Rob said before that the only reason that sites still running is for the ad revenue, it’s a worse board in every single way so the sensible thing would be to close it and use this one as the only board and build up revenue gain here. Maybe you don’t agree but hopefully you can see why I said it was greedy rather than saying my opinion is ridiculous.

How is it just troll accounts. Recognize 95% of name on first page. Some long standing members. FFS whether is due to lock down i'm not sure but we seem to be turning in to a society of nosey neighbors. If people a want to use other board let them You don't have to go there. What is the issue of having more than one board. There are loads of boards and a few Boro ones. Just use the ones you want.

What I mean is how does the old board still been in use affect you in any way shape or form. It's Rob's site at the end of the day. If he wants to keep it up as a source of income until this site is fully sorted (which it isn't) then he's well within his rights to. 😀

And yes, your opinion is still ridiculous. Clouded by a personal vendetta of some sort.

WTF do you base that on. Always been reasonable IMO. Seen him at gigs comes across as a decent quiet guy. I don't know why he bothers. What he makes out of it cant be worth having halfwits like you calling him a moron.

Because all the offending posts have been deleted ya doyle. Whichever board I fancy using, and if you used your noggin you'd know I fancied using that one as I was obviously reading it, I don't fancy having people trying to tell me BLM is just a sham whilst pretending to be a black man that is disgusted at the whole affair. That's just one example of a number of removed posts over there recently. Many more.
 
Just had a peek at the old board and there are some rotten apples on there for sure. Seems to be a higher than usual number of angry right wing folk who get upset that most of the world doesn’t want to be racist, sexist, homophobic, misogynistic etc anymore.
It’s quite funny looking in to see how angry they get over something like BLM and people taking a knee. Sad little men.

Le Flem will be in mourning now that his soulmate Woodgate has gone. I remember how upset he would get if anyone would question Woody and how he used to call people out on the odd occasion when we actually won a game. Strange chap that one!

Well exactly. This was the top of the Board earlier before Borolad had to do some repair work.

I knew it was him. I dropped a big hint that it was obvious by calling him one of his previous usernames, in capital letters, then he disappeared overnight. Then Thor turned up and was instantly recognisable with exactly the same modus operandi. The thread asking if anybody had spotted the troll yet, which Handsome replied several times to, gave me a chuckle.
To be fair though, he’s one of the less malicious trolls, or at least he starts out that way...

I don't remember Le Phlegm being a big Woody fan,in fact I can't remember him even being a big Boro fan!
 
In truth despite all the work done am still only earning £8 a day gross, from here. So it is tricky. The other site is no longer subsidising this but even now earns far more than £8 a day.
If I was greedy I would be closing this site down instead I have signed away my various personal deals, gone back to fansonline and have them working with a national company to try and turn this around.
People really enjoy the experience on here so we have to find a way to make it pay its way. But we cannot afford to shut down the other site until things start to click. It is frustrating at the moment. But hopefully we have a process now to work a way forward.
 
Most of the posting over there was from Riverside Rifle replying to himself with another 'character'...I can spot him a mile off :cool:

Doing some housekeeping over at the old board. Any of you that have been frequenting there recently and know who the rwnjs are, let me know. I'll check out posting history and then bin 'em.
 
It’s a genuine pleasure to be part of this board community; posters are, in the main, honest, articulate folk eager to share their thoughts on a variety of topics. I often read posts on the other board but was more than a little concerned that if I posted something which I thought was sensible, that I might get a mouthful from someone who was simply on the windup.

I read this board avidly every day, I don’t post much but when I do I know now I will receive feedback which is constructive, if not always in alignment with my own views.
