As I said before they are getting desperate now as you can-only sell the family silver so many times.

I’ll start taking them both seriously and their we only want a normal life etc when they stop using duke and duchess on everything that they do including their website.

probably because he's sick of the line that his wife is a piece of crap and his brother wife and 'Dad' are all great people that should be respected? Yes there has been a culture clash between Meghan and the royal family. Many of us have brother-in-laws, mother-in-laws etc. that we don't respect. What none of us do is a racist PR campaign to put them in their place. It stinks of a concerted campaign of bullying because she wouldn't let someone open car doors for her, maybe a bit of jealousy at the attention she was getting and a whole host of racism and xenophobia.

that family is utterly dysfunctional, but largely brought on by itself

He probably went for it, the pen and paper that is... to jot it all down for his future book. Probably got an interview with the dog in there somewhere too, about his favourite wedgewood bowl getting broken in the fracas.

He's looking a little more pathetic every time he opens his mouth, regardless of whether he has been hard done too.

Hypocrisy? At what point did I say the RF are not media Whores? Assuming that is the point you are trying to score.

I would point out that Hypocrisy is H&M wanting a quiet normal life but courting the media with bull and continuing to use their royal titles Duke/Duchess etc. if you want a quiet normal life, go do it, it’s relatively easy not to be continually courting the media and that would give them a quieter life……🤷🏻‍♂️. I’m not saying the media wouldn’t follow them but that is different to courting the media.

Anyway, lets move on.

There has undoubtedly been a clash of cultures and initially I was slightly sympathetic towards them when he initially decided to walk away from the Royal life, as some of the media coverage towards her from certain publications did seem to have a racial edge to it but the more that they speak about the whole thing, the more that they're coming across as a pair of narcissists, particularly as they had initially claimed that they wanted privacy.

It's interesting to me that in spite of all their attacks on the Royals and claims of wanting to distance themselves from the family, they're still choosing to market themselves as "The Duke and Duchess of Sussex". Their offical website is sussexroyals.com.

So they'd still have as much media attention, just they wouldn't get paid for it and they'd have no control over how they're presented? And given how the press already is about them, we know they'd just be slandered even more. Why would anyone expect them to go for that?

If they did as you suggest, I expect the same people would still criticise them. Just it'd be "look they know they are in the wrong! That's why they haven't got anything to say for themselves!"

And it's a hell of a coincidence that he waits for the queen to pass before he starts been the way he is at the moment. Maybes he isn't dealing well with the grief of her dying?
