Only a short clip but doesn’t look low on confidence. I’m hoping an epic comeback for Slab head, man thrives on tournament football.
I belive ee only didn't him because they had an injury crisis. We thought we'd signed Lindelof on loan also but he didn't show up to signFairplay to AK for trying to sign
him when a Hull sub. 4 then 4.5mil (ish) bids.
To think how much Leicester and UTD payed. I think he is still more than decent. Just confidence shot.
Do well at someone like Newcastle or West Ham etc. Definitely needs a move.
Benfica got an injury so pulled the plug, to be honest I’m glad, he’s the sh1ttest central defender I’ve ever seen, he can pass but never puts a tackle in, doesn’t win duels, just backs off or runs along side, he doesn’t even push attackers on to their weaker foot, no wonder maguire struggled playing with him. Makes Phil Whelan look a monster at centre back.I belive ee only didn't him because they had an injury crisis. We thought we'd signed Lindelof on loan also but he didn't show up to sign
I agree. The lad gets far too much stick. All this slab head nonsense does my head in.I really really hate how someone can't be body shamed by calling him slab head man. He is just a bloke like me and you. Get a grip of life and don't be nasty about how he looks.
‘Decent’ is fairThink he’s a decent player just made a bad decision signing for Manchester United. The same can be said for many players in the last 10 years.
If he makes a mistakeMaguire's problem is that as soon as he makes a mistake his confidence will completely evaporate again and he'll be an absolute liability
Would be a good signing for Spurs, could see thatIn a defensive team Maguire is fine, he was never quick but injuries have definitely hindered him and unfortunately he’s just too slow for a team playing a high press now. He’d be fine in a conte or Mourinho team or for someone like Weat Ham.
