So Jones to come back any other changes

For Leo second game do you think he’ll stick with the winning side or change it got a more solid away style set up.

I don't think so, Hackney did enough to keep his place and Fry and Bola played well.
Limits the changes there are to make.

The question is whether you drop McNair or Dijksteel to bring Jones back in.

I thought Dijksteel had a stinker on Wednesday, but McNair has had plenty himself this season.

Personally I'd keep McNair in as his delivery is better.

I think the only change he'll make will be McGree for Hackney. I'd personally go with the same team. Always a tough physical game vs Millwall so I'd rather have Djiksteel starting in that position ahead of Jones.

I thought Dijksteel got up the line really well, but his delivery just isn't good enough really. I thought he excelled - going forwards - in the overlapping RCB role under Wilder as he was able to drive us up the pitch on that side, but then the final ball itself was usually delivered by someone else :)

Dijksteel played quite well I thought but his delivery is just terrible. I don't rate McNair, he's just too slow. I'd move Dijksteel back to RCB and have Jones come back in at WB.
Is McNair slow or just lackadaisical? I've often thought he believes the hype that he's some kind of Beckenbauer-like defender and can just stroll through the game, rather than getting the bit between his teeth and going for it.

Slow. And with a very heavy touch as well - prone to overrunning the ball when in motion with it, putting too much weight on short passes etc. Think his best position is on the bench, coming on wherever to close a game out, but not to help us win one.

I'd take McNair out I think, Djiksteel RCB, Jones RWB.

Crooks looked livelier on Wednesday, if we can get his and Jones' interplay back to where it was last season we'll be much more of a threat.

McNair has very good delivery from wide but I'm never fully confident when he has the ball in tight spaces and needs to link play quickly. He always looks like he needs longer on the ball than he has.

His delivery was appalling on Wednesday night.
It was but that's why I'm happy him playing RCB rather than WB because at RCB it isn't his job to put crosses in. He got in loads of good positions though, obviously got the attacking intent. Not sure if it was an off day or he's always dreadful at crossing.

Jones isn't particularly good at crossing either for a winger, which is why he tries the ball along the floor so often.

I think he's definitely slow. Watch him chasing back after the defenders (1st against Cardiff particularly). He looks like he's running in treacle. He's not great at the slick interplay either. Needs loads of time and space and can pick a pass if given it. When he got played in to the byline he had loads of time and his touch wasn't great and he hesitated so the defender could easily get there to block.

I was thinking of the 1st for Cardiff, and wasn't sure if his jogging back with his hand in the air to claim offside was simply a show to make it look like he knew what he was doing and had everything under control, whereas busting a gut to actually sprint back would've made it look like he'd lost control of the situation and been beaten. He always seems to play with an air of "I know what I'm doing, I've got quality, so I don't need to try hard or sprint" to me.

So did Fry for Coventry's goal.

true, but defensively he stays on his feet and competes, Jones has had a habit of going to ground regularly this season , slide and miss and out the game. Away to Millwall we can't be allowing them a free run down our right because they'll get balls in the box early and we're still a bit brittle there

I thought he was terrible. His crossing was miles off, he fluffed a couple of easy passes and put an opponent through on goal. I don't want to see him play there again.

Lenihan needs to start games as soon as he's match fit,

Where do you play him though?

I think he’s best in the middle, but so is Dael. Dijksteel’s best position is RCB, so does Lenihan end up at LCB? I thought Bola did well there.

The thing is, our best defenders are all perfectly suited to a back 4:

Bola-Lenihan-Fry-Dijksteel

But wilder just refused to try it. I don’t blame Leo really, he’s only in charge for a week.

For Millwall away I would physically toughthen up the team - so bring in Lenihan (if fully fit) for either Dijksteel or McNair or Bola- Cooper is a big aerial threat for them

Put McCree in midfield for Hackney - Millwall @ the Den.

The other Issue is right wing back its either Dijksteel or Jones.

I have decided - drop McNair for Lenihan and keep Dijksteel at right wing back.

When you have played Wednesday night I think its good to rotate some places to keep players fresh.
