The fabled left sided CB. It going to cost a few quid as I'm sure they wanted 7mil+

I guess his age makes him a longterm project. It's always going to be difficult to sign a fellow championship clubs best players. We used to due to ridiculous wage offers (Sav/Flint etc).

Yet now I think we pay slightly above average and better for it. The Hull owners have a few quid. So not sure what they will offer him.
 
Having watched on Saturday I think a Greaves and a DCM would allow us to function much better getting the most out of Giles and McGree going forward.

If Howson is to be a fixture for the season as the deep midfielder, I think we need to replace McGree with someone more box-to-box and positionally astute.
 
I really want this kid. I think its a bit of us losing out on Maguire at the time, needing a centre half, he's left footed etc bit of everything, but the fact he's been linked all summer so he appears to be our top choice so id love us to get him, instead of someone further down the list.

He’s not at Maguire’s level or even Fry’s.
 
I had a feeling once we got money we'd be back in for him. He's absolutely perfect for us.

I reckon £5 million.+ Add ons/ Sell on Fee would do it with his contract up next season. Especially if he decides he doesn't want a new deal at Hull and wants to come here
 
If his contracts up in a year Hel certainly be going somewhere this window I don’t think we need to too much with that in mind . Over £5m seems a lot if there’s no competition especially if he’s not quite at fry’s level
 
The only players being signed for cold, hard cash should be BETTER than what we already have. I don’t see the point in spending another few million on someone who isn’t as good as Fry, Lenihan or Dijksteel. We need quality not quantity.

He’s a left sided centre back. None of them players best position is left sided centre back. He is better in that role and that’s where he will play if he signs
 
He was born in Hull, his Dad was born in Hull and played for them too so he's got deep rooted family ties there so i think if he leaves, it'll only be to a club he thinks are a big step up with bigger ambitions and bigger chance of winning promotion than Hull. I know Watford have been linked and from the outside they're the obvious choice unless he wants to stay up North.

I want him.

None of them would be as comfortable at LCB.

Is he better there than Bola or Bilongo would be a fairer comparison.

Wilder has mentioned a few times about wanting a left footer.
 
Absolute waste of time going for him - we only have 4 and a bit weeks left of the transfer window so nowhere near enough time for Boro to do a deal.........🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️
