Forest turning attention away from Spence

Looks like Forest are resigned to Spurs winning the battle for Djed Spence
Northern Echo have stated that Spurs are getting increasingly confident of landing their man, £15+ is the fee at least, Boro aren't bothered who he goes to as long as we get our valuation met or exceeded. By the sounds of it, the money will be used as Wilders Summer Warchest

Forest in the meanwhile look like they want Issa Kabore on loan from Man City

I thought he loved Forest so much?

Anyway, I think sending him on loan there might be the best bit of business the club have ever done, huge props to whoever decided a loan would be better than to sell last summer.
I’m guessing the decision would be partially out of his hands. Spurs will come in with more money, more wages and be a bigger pull than Forest. It will be interesting to see how the transfer pans out tbh

Got nothing against Forest, so I wouldn't laugh in that regard, but the money will likely be better from Spurs.

Good news for us.

There was talk before the playoff final that it was 99% done with spurs and the fee was around £10m

Frankly, I wouldn’t call Spence out for anything. He is our biggest asset for bringing in real money we can then invest in players

To put it into perspective the £5m difference between getting £15m and £20m would likely buy Riis from Preston.
Gibson will not **** this up like some of our timid fans would.
Forest will pay £15m, Spurs will pay more, as will others. Newcastle if they want him would pay £25m because they are the richest club in the world, with brains the size of goosegogs.

Yes as we are awash with players good enough to be rated at 15 million plus.

A player who got promoted, TOTS, U21 call up, several POTM awards ect ect is not going to be for sale for £10 million
I think it's shocking we're only asking for £15 million. We should be rinsing any team who wants him for as much as we can get!

Or alternatively had one good season in his professional career and was bombed out of two clubs because of his attitude. It's not all about what happens on the pitch when it comes to transfer valuations.

I think we're gonna be quite flush this summer, £1.5 million from Forest overall, £15+ million transfer fee for Spence, any other big deal ( I foresee one of the 4 big assets we have leaving) £3 million Derby Windfall, wages saved when Akpom/Ikpeazu,Lumley,Hall leave plus potential fees, Payero potentially heading out the door, if he is to go I hope he has a great season and either comes back fired up or has impressed enough to rekindle that Inter interest!
I'm excited to see what we do. I'm constantly back clicking hoping for any kind of link/rumour or news 😂

If he's serious about developing he should go to Spurs. Working with a top level coach like Conte is worth it. Spurs system would also suit his style too.

On the other hand, if his work ethic and attitude is as questionable as previous managers have alluded to, I could see it ending badly.
The results under Cooper have been so good that he's never really had to struggle at Nottingham Forest.
It was when things started going badly that the wheels fell off here.

You don't get many managers more intense than Conte.

Not that it's our problem as soon we've got the money.

That's true of course. If he acts out against Conte it won't end up well for him.
