Fair point Newy, you can take over recruitment, fun times ahead.....Perfectly understandable.. I mean we’ve done it before and look where that got us!
Same here, Henderson and Ramsdale both excelled under Wilder, and with the current goalkeeper coach having left, you’d think he’d get his old coach Darren Ward who both of them worked with at Sheff United. Bazunu wouod be ideal, young goalkeeper with high potential, Ireland’s number one and wilder has a good relationship with Pep. Unless bazunu is off to a prem team on loan, such as Fulham or Bournemouth, I’d have made him our number one target, with Iverson and Woodman also up there. i think darlow would do well, but surely his wages will be steep, and a young keeper with potential would be better than a premier league number 2I'd much prefer Iverson from Leicester, or might be a stretch, That Gavin Buanzu from man City who has been on loan at Portsmouth
yeah my thoughts exactly, except the Woodman bit, never seen him have a good game, think he is awful.Same here, Henderson and Ramsdale both excelled under Wilder, and with the current goalkeeper coach having left, you’d think he’d get his old coach Darren Ward who both of them worked with at Sheff United. Iverson is 25, he's not young young. Also, if you take he last 5 years, Darlow has played about 40 games, Iverson over a 100, so in terms of match readiness there is that to consider.Given a choice between the two I'd take Darlow, Iversen probably has more potential but Darlow is in his prime and we need someone to hit the ground running in that position.
Personally I'd say he's much better than either option we've got for GK currently.
The club shop better stock up on tildes and umlauts!Fair point Newy, you can take over recruitment, fun times ahead.....
He is absolutely better than Joe Lumley, by a long way.Asked a Newcastle fan:
"He's not a Premier League keeper by any stretch, but he's fine for the Championship, without being standout.
I would think that Joe Lumley is actually better by a nose, is he off?"
The least encouraging endorsement ever.
Are Hemmings and Brynn not even going to be considered then ?
The fact that hes a local lad is a strong plus for me, whos to say Iverson would settle in the area. darlo is a no brainer for me.
Has this Newcastle fan seen Joe Lumley play?Asked a Newcastle fan:

well hes been at newcastle for years so must be settled in the areaHe's from Northampton.
I doubt Iversen would struggle too much with Teesside when he's played for Oldham, Rotherham and Preston.

Can I ask why? Iverson hasn't had a great season and Buanzu is just a fancy foreign name.I'd much prefer Iverson from Leicester, or might be a stretch, That Gavin Buanzu from man City who has been on loan at Portsmouth
