There are no great TV themes anymore

I thought the original Peaky Blinders theme tune was brilliant although it's not technically a theme tune but Nick Caves Red right hand fitted so well with the programme it was almost a perfect fit.
Traditional theme tunes on a modern programme I would say Marvels Wandavision has a good take on the Traditional theme tunes which fit with each episode/era.

The last really great one I can remember was for the scandi noir series The Bridge.

The very catchy theme to Curb Your Enthusiasm is in the genre of 1970s sitcoms.

Children's TV has some great ones, for example Love Monster is right up there with anything from the 1970's / 80's (and done by Jeremy Warmsley from Summer Camp too).

Isn't this just one of those things where your tastes don't match what is now popular?

The vid in the OP does nothing for me I have to say - I'll take westworld's orchestral intro over stuff like that any day of the week.

Sad but true.
On Talking Pictures now, one I'd forgotten, but what a belter. Grimy, downbeat and melancholy. Immediately sets the tone for a down at heel PI going through the seedy city streets late at night.

Mmmm, nice.

I actually remember this. 'Brum noir'

Successions theme tune is excellent so there's one modern show at least.

Curbs theme, and the music used throughout the show, always makes me think of old Laurel and Hardy films.

Depends what you're counting as anymore.

There have been loads of great TV themes from the 2000s onwards in my eyes (or ears).
