Despite the Gazette and Echo both claiming last night that nothing was happening, am I correct in thinking that might not be the case?
I received a text from a friend earlier saying that Wilder was 1/3 to be the next Burnley manager, then about an hour later that he'd gone out to 1/2. Is there still something in this? Thanks in advance.

God knows but Scott Wilson has put a cryptic tweet out and the rumours are still going strong and wilder still strong favourite. I’m leaning more towards him going but god knowsWould someone be so kind to summarise what's been going on today, as I have been out most of today.

the odds are moving because that's where the money is going.. i wouldn't take too much from it.. its a very murky business.. like if sky sports posts a bit of speculation then suddenly sky bet will get a chunk of bets related to it...I received a text from a friend earlier saying that Wilder was 1/3 to be the next Burnley manager, then about an hour later that he'd gone out to 1/2. I think this is a fake account. Posts a lot of crap and in comments on other tweets people say he changed his name

Whilst I agree, the fact that his odds are (still) so short suggests there is either something going on, or there has been a lot of really big bets placed in Wilder. Odds don’t shorten that much because a few people have had a fiver on him at evens.the odds are moving because that's where the money is going.. i wouldn't take too much from it.. its a very murky business.. like if sky sports posts a bit of speculation then suddenly sky bet will get a chunk of bets related to it...
Or not, hence nobody other than trash journos commenting? Two tweets from the press about not messing Gibson about. I suspect he’s not officially been asked/spoken to so not in a position to leave yet. Doesn’t want to resign. We don’t want to sack him. Playing a game.
Someone explained that the manager markets are quite sensitive as they don’t have all that much money in the marketWhilst I agree, the fact that his odds are (still) so short suggests there is either something going on, or there has been a lot of really big bets placed in Wilder. This is correct...If I tried, for example, to get 10 grand on Wilder now at 1/2 or whatever, the bookie would laugh in my face, refuse the bet and make him 1/20Someone explained that the manager markets are quite sensitive as they don’t have all that much money in the market
Get in Everton. 1-1 last minute equaliser.
Small markets can move massively based on a few thousand getting placed.Whilst I agree, the fact that his odds are (still) so short suggests there is either something going on, or there has been a lot of really big bets placed in Wilder.
