Chelsea fans - what's the situation with tickets for Saturday?

Are we going to be able to sell out those seats? Are they going to have any fans at all?

I assume Chelsea bought and paid for their allocation before the restrictions were imposed so I'm not sure how they would give them back to us as I assume we can't give them a refund.
Exactly this. People need to keep calm. This is a highly unusual situation and no doubt the clubs will be trying to work out a compromise. Its going to be a last minute scramble if we can eventually sell them but such is life. Im hoping Chelsea will be able to have some support however, just not the same without away fans (no matter who they are!).

If that is the case, why don't they just give them away for free, it would make for a better atmosphere than leaving them empty.
I thought that, but not sure if they are allowed, other wise there is no reason why they couldn't hold a ballot? It might be linked to them not being able to provide transport for the supporters (just a guess as I have no idea)???

Spoke to ticket office just now and asked what was happening with Chelsea tickets he said they sold about 1K before sanctions I asked if remainder would come available to us he said probably not as segregation in concourse

Chelsea sold 800 before the axe fell. That leaves some 3,500ish empty seats. Nobody wants to see that so imagine there will be a discussion taking place today about how we best accommodate the 800 and sell on the remainder with appropriate segregation to Boro fans. More tickets coming in the near future🤔

Guess another option maybe that Chelsea 'gift' them to their fans 🤔 although time is running out for alot of these decisions.

I hope there is some way of getting Chelsea fans the tickets as having a big away following in these cup games always increases the atmosphere ten fold.

I intensely dislike Chelsea and have sympathy with genuine Boro fans who haven't been able to get a ticket for this one, but it's not an FA Cup match without a big away following and a red hot atmosphere.
