NO, I stand by what I said and my explanation. The fact you've removed the "in some small way" from my comment and ignored the explanation reflects badly on you. I'm sorry if it upsets you but brexit has isolated the UK, in some small way this would give Russia slightly more confidence to attack a sovereign nation, knowing we are one country that, thanks to the Budapest memorandum SHOULD oppose them. It's probably why they interfered in the vote in the first place.

'In some small way' was included in my original post so no it doesn't reflect badly on me. Also you still have never explained why you made the complicit remark. Your comments above are significantly watered down.

You want to have an opinion that Brexit has weakened us on the foreign stage - fine a legitimate view which I have no problem with.

What upsets me is you saying Brexit voters are complicit in the attack on the Ukraine.

I've got used to your unbalanced views so largely ignore them but you are in a hole of your own stupidity and should stop digging.

I have now, but you are still not accepting the fact that the only reason brexit ‘got done’ was not because the people that voted for it got it done, it was because of the people that voted tory subsequently. Anyone voting tory was by proxy voting for any old brexit yet you somehow blame others when you are sadly and arguably more complicit in getting brexit done. Now lets put this petty squabble to bed, it will be tedious for everyone else otherwise.

No I don't accept the fact that brexit only "got done" because people voted Tory. That sounds ludicrous to me. That sounds like you're trying to say that no one who voted for brexit is responsible for brexit? I'd like to see your working out there like.

I have explained why I made the complicit remark but happy to clairify: One of the reasons (far from the only one, but one of) the reasons that Putin felt so emboldened to attack Ukraine is that one of the countries that signed the Budapest Memorandum and explicitly stated it would defend Ukraine were it to be invaded, was weakened by Brexit.
